Motivated by the enthusiasm of my first success, I was driven to look for other models: Mother Rabbit was clamouring for her tribe. Also because the placemat of my adorable stalker had, like all tablecloths and family members unfortunately, four corners… So a cute little Lamb, Aunt Goose and a fat chick were born. Perhaps the proportions are not quite right, but I think the Easter effect is guaranteed and, above all, I have made peace with the reproduction of furry or feathered animals, confirming the hypothesis that prioritising details and then simplifying… is the secret!<\/p>\n

I definitely regretted not having set a placemat myself, because I must admit that the idea would have been interesting. I had embroidered the characters on pieces of fabric, so I came up with a couple of solutions for packaging them.<\/p>\n

The first is an egg-shaped, carved scroll to hang on the curtains. But… Thinking of those who, like me for years, do not like to devote themselves to overly demanding projects for holidays that come and go with the breath of a pressing spring wind, I imagined some alternative eggs: real eggs, unadorned, very simple, very quick to make. as usual, I cut out a couple of pieces of cardboard, one for the front and one for the back, covering both with fabric and inserting wadding tape only on the front.<\/p>\n

It was easier to embroider the pieces than to put together the e-book! Without really realising it, I had introduced a large number of stitches, which certainly does not help the need for e-books to be streamlined and essential. But in the end, I managed to find a compromise to fit everything in! I think it’s easy to imagine, however, that I recommend these designs to those who have already done some embroidery work, and not to beginners, who first need to develop their technique with designs that are not too detailed.
