Recording a course is quite demanding. While embroidering, I have to film the key steps and make sure the focus doesn’t shift too much. Then I have to download the videos, edit them into a coherent presentation, write the text to optimise the narration and record the audio. Except for the details of video animation, it’s no different from designing and writing a book. This means that it absorbs me to the point where I have to devote myself exclusively to the course (with a minimum of three weeks’ work). So the idea of re-recording the basic course discouraged the idea of a long summer of novelty and experimentation. But it evolves as you go along, and inexperience produces products that require upgrades. So I re-embroidered the towels from the basic course, re-recording and… Caught up in experimenting with colour dosage, I also embroidered the towels with the colours from the shell sample book.
