The course proposes the embroidery of a design from the book “A sea to stitch”, to review the stitches used to embroider the waves (stem stitch in rows), the beach (straight stitch and knots), the sea (“stuoia” stitch), seagulls (splitted back stitch), starfish (padded stitch), shells (padded stitch, mending, spider web stitch, bullion stitch), wind ropes (Palestrina stitch). Entirely proposed on the frame. To embroider together and review traditional techniques and creative solutions.
