COURSES – WRITE WITH EMBROIDERY
Refine the embroidery of writings and names, through the attention to the drawing and the accurate use of basic stitches of classic embroidery
Program
The course reviews the questions which may arise in the embroidery of writings and names and that frequently alter their readability. From the transfer of the design on the fabric to the stitches chosen for the embroidery, different solutions to problems will be tested.
Course only available in italian language, at the moment.
Through a sampler of words, I’ll review:
- stem stitch,
- split back stitch
- fly stitch,
- Palestrina stitch
- couching
- stem stich with variable thickness
- bullion stitch roses
