The first rain of August had really refreshed the forest.

On the notes of a fresh breeze I had embroidered the rose berries in padded stitch and then started to make snow knots, here and there. How long would it take the breeze to turn into snow?

Are you finished, then?!

                 It’s snowing… Look!

Ah, what a relief! It’s about time!

I’m spending next summer in a hut in Burundi. There’s no wify there.

I’ll organise a safari…

On the pull of the last stitch, an almost Christmas-like feeling had pervaded me, but no need to confess that to Patty.

I thank Laura Tremolada of La Cor:nice for the framing. She is among the rare people who manage to combine their genius with the desires of those who come to her art.
