There is still some Long and short stitch in the baskets.
There is a bit of padded stitch in the eggs, which have the same colours as the cardboard ones.
There is also a bit of the wipped chain stitch that I first embroidered with the acorns.
Small steps, for me, to begin to mix techniques and learn to move between the reliefs and flashes of solid stitch and the flat expanses of painting, slaloming between knots and bullion stitch, which overflow from the bushes of daisy stitch. On the Palestrina I usually stop to contemplate the sinuous snake of knots, which here details the baskets, closing the last needlework with a sigh.
I will certainly take them to Bergamo Creattiva, from 6 to 9 March!
